Richard E. Guyott

Richard E. Guyott age 85 of Cedar Springs, died Monday, July 26, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Mr. Guyott was born May 23, 1936 in Caledonia, MI the son of Wilbert and Mary (Hula) Guyott. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 – 62 and retired from Metal Components in 1998. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf and hunting and fishing. Surviving are his wife, Betty (Cook) who he married on March 14, 1959; children, Valerie Guyott, Richard (Julie) Guyott; 3 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. The family will greet family and friends Thursday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Pierson Bible Church, 101 Grand St., Pierson. Pastor Tom Ekkel officiating. Interment at a later date at Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta. Memorial contributions may be made to Pierson Bible Church.
