Richard E. Allen

Richard E. Allen, 66 of Cedar Springs, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Dick was born May 24, 1946 in Greenville, MI the son of Harold and Lula (Travis) Allen. He had worked at Michigan Wheel, Cutlers and Wolverine. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, Nascar, and putting puzzles together. Surviving are his daughter, Kelly Brophy; grandchildren, Shae, Justin, and Austin; brother, Robert (Nancy) Allen; sister, Linda (Tom) Parker. Private burial has taken place at Solon Township Cemetery. A memorial service will be held Saturday 2:00 pm at The Springs Church, 135 N. Grant St., Cedar Springs with a luncheon to follow.
