Ray C. Hayman

Ray C. Hayman, 73 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, May 8, 2008 at his home. Ray was born May 16, 1934 in Baldwin, MI the son of Lawrence and Helen (Sapinski) Hayman. He worked for Alexis Manufacturing retiring in 2004, enjoyed camping, fishing, and his dogs, especially Cocoa. Surviving are his wife, Norma; 8 children, Don, Lois Laroe, Randy (Dawn), Lori Ziel, Roger (Debra), Linda (Bruce) Krombeen, Susan Kay Hayman, Shellie (James) Jackson; 13 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Jeanette Nielson. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 son, Larry; 1 brother and 1 sister. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, where services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am. Pastor Mike Austin officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association or Spectrum Health Hospice.
