Ralph Martin

Ralph Martin, age 94 of Pierson, MI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, devotion to family, and a love for the simple blessings of life.

He was born April 16, 1931 in Blanchard, MI the son of James and Mary Jane (Card) Martin. Ralph shared 70 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Mary Martin. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and dedication.

He was the proud father of four children: Wendell Martin and his wife Cheryl, Kendell Martin, who preceded him in death, and his wife Pat, Debra (Martin) Stout and her husband George, and Kevin Martin and his wife Nancy. Ralph was a loving grandfather to 10 grandchildren and a proud great-grandfather to 16 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy and pride. Ralph was deeply proud of his family and cherished the time spent with them.

Ralph worked for 32 years at the Gibson–White–Electrolux factory in Greenville, Michigan, where he was known for his strong work ethic and reliability. In addition to his factory work, Ralph spent many years farming. He raised milking cows, pigs, and field crops, living the hardworking life of a farmer that he loved. He found great joy outdoors and especially enjoyed deer hunting, tending to his large garden, camping, and fishing. Whether in the woods, on the water, or working the land, Ralph was happiest, surrounded by nature.

The family wishes to recognize the staff at Green Acres and our heartfelt thanks to Judy Olsen and her staff. We would also like to recognize Interim Healthcare Hospice for their compassionate care of Ralph.

Ralph will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his quiet strength, and the life he built through hard work and love. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

A private gathering will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
