Philip Eugene Bunker age 78 of Sand Lake died Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Care Cardinal Alger Heights. He was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on February 2, 1946 the son of Dennis and Edna (Brott) Bunker. He was a truck driver and his favorite driving route was to be out west. He retired from the Sparta Foundry. He loved hunting and being in the outdoors. Surviving are his children, Timothy (Becky) Bunker, Ronda Houck, Charles (Amanda) Bunker, Elizabeth Bunker; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; siblings, Dan (Jean) Bunker, Jim Bunker, Becky McMeeken, Mary Jean (Paul) Steinburg, Eunice (Gerald) Gould, David Bunker, Faith Bunker; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louella; brothers, Thomas and Steve Bunker. The family will greet friends 10:00 am Friday, December 13, at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs with the funeral service at 11:00 am. Pastor Thomas Sluys, officiating. Interment Crandall Cemetery. Memorial contributions to American Diabetes, American Heart Association or to Alzheimer’s Association.
