Peter L. Mcmath

Peter L. McMath age 65 of Cedar Springs, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at his home. Pete was born April 15, 1954 in Saginaw, MI the son of Hugh and Gloria (Watz) McMath. He worked for AT&T for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing, mushrooming and had a unique sense of humor. He loved his grandchildren and family. Surviving are his wife, Ann; children, Colleen (T.J.) Pake, Hugh (Courtney) McMath; grandchildren, Annabelle, Roxanne, Lilly, Finnley and Elliott; father, Hugh (Sally) McMath; mother-in-law, Geraldine Beson; brothers, Tom McMath, Mike (Angela) McMath, Scott (Shelli) McMath; sister, Sandra (Stephen) Gadille; sister-in-law, Michelle McMath; in-laws, Kimberly Teeple, Lynette Beson, Florence (Gary) Parent, Donna LaRoche, Donald (Andrea) Beson Jr; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria McMath; brother, Gregory McMath; sister-in-law, Joan McMath; brother-in-law, Rich LaRoche. The family will greet friends Sunday from 2-5 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Monday 11:30 am. Visitation will begin Monday 10:30 am. Rev. Fr. Tony Vainavicz officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
