Pearl G. Hagstrom

Pearl G. Hagstrom, 86 of Trufant, died Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Spectrum Health, United Memorial Campus, Greenville. Mrs. Hagstrom was born January 16, 1922 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Walter and Pauline (Kern) Ellerholz. She grew up in Dearborn, MI and graduated from Fordson High School. She was a longtime resident of Trufant, MI and retired from General Motors. Mrs. Hagstrom loved gardening and pets, especially her dogs. Surviving are her husband, Donald; 1 son and his wife, Dan (Barbara) Coulson; 2 granddaughters, Catherine Kaya and Kelly Smith; 2 great grandsons, Connor Smith and Ethan Smith; 5 sisters-in-law, including Pat Bamford; 2 brothers-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Tommy Turner officiating. Interment Trufant Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
