Pearl Byers

Pearl Beatrice Byers age 85 of Sparta died Saturday, August 13, 2022 at home with her family. She was born on August 11, 1937 in Grand Rapids to Raymond and Beatrice (Hall) Crabb. Pearl was very artistic and crafty. She enjoyed painting pictures and murals, sewing for her children, camping, traveling, and canoeing. Pearl was involved in all her children’s activities as they grew up and was always involved at her church. Surviving are her loving husband of 66 years James; children, Laura (Nick) Vodry, John (Shayne Storck) Byers, Kathi Byers; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Byers; grandchildren, Samantha (Shane) Schultz, Jim Byers, Ben Byers, Emily Byers, Savannah Storck; great grandson, Hunter Schultz; sisters, Joyce (Robert) Hosmer, Linda (Jimmy) Cooper, Suzy Latreille; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, David Byers, brother, Curt Crabb, sister, Esther Briggs. The family will greet friends 10:30 am Friday August 19, until the time of service at 12:00 pm at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1200 Post Dr. NE Belmont, MI 49306. Fr. David Myers, officiating.
