Paul E. Harris age 90, died Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at The Brook of Cedar Springs surrounded by his family. He was born August 14, 1934 in Benzonia Township, the son of George and Ida (Andrews) Harris.

Paul worked at Wolverine Brass Works for several years as a production engineer and then owner of Die Sand Manufacturing in Rockford for 40 years. Paul and his wife Janet have been faithful members of Maranatha Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and cutting wood. He cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren dirt biking. Paul loved to work with his hands and could fix anything.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Janet; children, Diane Long, Sandra (Andy) Chernoby; grandchildren, Paul (Nicole) Long, Joe (Jurnee) Long, Sam (Emilee Pastoor) Long; great-grandchildren, Piper, Jett, Avia, Sierra, Cason, Maizy, Emma; special friends, Pastor Scott (Susan) Sloan; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, George, Mary, Walter, Shirley and Little Joe.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Maranatha Baptist Church, 12786 Algoma Ave NE, Cedar Springs, MI 49319. The family will greet friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday, January 14, at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Officiating, Pastor Dan Ingersoll. Interment, Algoma Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Paul’s name to Pine Ridge Bible Camp.
