Patrick J. O'Brien

Patrick James O’Brien, 40 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Perrysburg, Ohio. Patrick was born July 12, 1969 in Lapeer, MI the son of James and Judith (Whitney) O’Brien. He was a train engineer for CSX Transportation for the past 16 years. He was a loving father, devoted husband, and great friend. Surviving are his wife, Teresa; two daughters, Whitney and Cortney; parents, James (Judith) O’Brien; grandparents, Robert (Margaret) O’Brien; sisters, Jamie O’Brien and Leslie O’Brien; nephew, Jordan. He was preceded in death by his birth father, Richard Salmond. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1-3 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Friday 11:00 am at the funeral home with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Interment will take place in Sharon Baptist Cemetery, Green Cove Springs, Florida.
