Patrick K. Kennedy

Patrick K. Kennedy, 61 of Sand Lake, died Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at his home. Pat was born September 2, 1946 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Kingsley and Frances (Stahelin) Kennedy. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was a printer for Alitcor for 28 years and a member of the Cedar Springs American Legion. He loved to golf, hunt, fish, snowmobile and spend time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Jerry; 4 children, Aaron MacDonald, Jennifer Sheets, Melissa McLean, Carlton Yeager; 3 step children, Jacklyn Bitler, Gerald Bowen, and Jeremy Bowen; 12 grandchildren; 1 brother, Bill (Roxanne) Kennedy; 1 sister, Linda (Vern) Hoerner. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Joey Bowen; sister, Kay Kennedy. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Saturday 11:00 am. Chaplain Madelyn Thompson officiating. Interment Pierson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
