Patricia A. “Pat” Gee 85 of Cedar Springs, died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Mercy Health St. Mary’s. Mrs. Gee was born November 26, 1931 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Emerson and Elizabeth (Newton) Hyde. She was a homemaker and also worked at Westside Apostolate. She enjoyed bowling and camping. Surviving are her children, Shirley (Dan) Poeder, Mary (Dean) Gee Thorrington, Emerson Gee, Richard (Carmen) Gee; grandchildren, Tarrah (Jake), Shane (Amber), Kayla (Katie), Seth (Hayley), Brianna, Chad (Stefani), Timmy (Jen), Stephanie (Aaron); 4 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Tammy Gee-Rogers; niece and nephew, Donna Blight and Tony Blight; her dog, Susie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; 1 brother, 1 sister, a great grandchild. The family will greet friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where a Scripture Service will be held at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 2:00 pm at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, Cedar Springs. The family will greet friends at the church at 1:00 pm. Rev. Fr. Lam Le celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John Paul II Catholic Church. .
