Patricia Ann Feutz

Patricia A. Feutz, 52 of White Cloud, died Friday, June 1, 2007 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Pat was born March 6, 1955 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Irwin John and Myrtle (Blackall) Feutz. She graduated Cedar Springs High School in 1973 where she was president of the Student Council and captain of the Debate Team. She was the Red Flannel Queen of 1973. Pat worked for the Michigan Department of Corrections for 25 years and had achieved Captain status. Her main love in life was being a mother and she was devastated when her 3 year old daughter Rachel, and fiancé Mark, were taken from her by a drunk driver in 1987. Despite all the adversity in her life, Pat was a warm, kind and loving person. Surviving are her mother, Mert (Joe) Heinz; father, John Feutz; brothers, Mike (Michelle) Feutz, Steve (Tina) Feutz, Greg Feutz; sisters, Julie (Dan) Sturgeon, Terri (Jake) Miles, Lorie (Mike) Gates; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl and LaFern Blackall, Alfred and Irene Feutz; a nephew, Joey Feutz. The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Tuesday 11:00 am.
