Patricia L. Bamford

Patricia L. Bamford, 63 of Sand Lake, passed away at St. Mary’s Health Care on Tuesday, September 30, 2008 and is finally free after a valiant seven year fight with cancer. Mrs. Bamford was born July 5, 1945 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Paul and Catherine (Knox) Hagstrom. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother Kenneth Hagstrom and 1 sister Shirley Snyder. She retired from the Amway Grand Plaza in 2005 after 20 years of service. She is survived by her husband Bill; children, Theresa (Barney) Robinson of Cedar Springs, Tom (Kelly) Beeney of Trufant, Tony (Dawn) Beeney of Brighton, Patrick (Jessica) Beeney of Stanwood, Scott Bamford of Sand Lake, Justin (Joy) Bamford of Ravenna and Colin Bamford of Newaygo; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren with two on the way; brothers Donald Hagstrom, Harold (Jerri) Hagstrom, Bob (Casey) Hagstrom; sisters Kathleen (Clarence) Probst, Margaret Montroy and Phyllis Oberg and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Rockford Reformed Church.
