Norman H. Frey

Norman H. Frey age 82 of Ensley Township, Sand Lake died Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at his home. He was born December 14, 1942 in Kent City, MI the son of Loren and Violet (Hanson) Frey. He graduated from Grant High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Norm worked at General Motors 36th St. Plant for 30 years. He loved having his family and friends at the cabin and riding the trails with his golf cart. Surviving are his children, Eric Frey, Cari (Frey) Schutter, John (Robin) Frey; grandchildren, Calvin Frey, Chyna Frey, Lara (Jim) Bromley, Brandon Schutter, Joe (Matthew) Frey-Waite, Jake (Katie) Frey; 6 great grandchildren; siblings, Jack (Holly) Frey, Janet (Gary) Rogers, Joy (John) Alex, Kay Deacey, Karna (Joe) Montambo, Paul (Valerie) Frey; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Nancy Morris. A private family graveside will be held at Crandall Cemetery. Arrangements by K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
