Neil D. Goodell

Neil D. Goodell age 85 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, November 16, 2024 at his home. He was born May 20, 1939 in Grand Rapids, son of Leon and Leona (Covey) Goodell. Neil treasured the time he spent with his family. His greatest joy and focus were always his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving are his daughters, Marcia (Mark) Powell, JoEllen (Rick) Yokom, Sheila Goodell; grandchildren, Kristin (Michael) Clapp, Lauren (Taehun Youn) Powell, Beth Avink, Kent Yokom, Anna Hoogerheide, Austin Hoogerheide; great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Willow, Emerson, Leland, Brielle, Kenley, Jay; sister, Glenda (Richard) Esch; and sister-in-law, Lois Goodell. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Judith in 2021; son, Kent; son-in-law, Michael Durst; brother, Weldon Goodell; and in-laws, Roland and Marcia Hess.
