Nancy J. Wondergem

Nancy Joy Wondergem age 88 of Cedar Springs went to be with her Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2024 at her home. She was born April 22, 1935 in Sparta, MI the daughter of Lee and Mildred (Zeigler) Porter. She adored cats of any kind and after her husband Clare died in 1999 she devoted her time to her grandchildren. She had a strong faith, always put others ahead of herself and wanted her children and grandchildren to have a better life and to know the Lord. Her son is grateful their parents cared enough to adopt him and his brother. Surviving are two sons, Jim Wondergem, Jerry (Tracy) Wondergem; many grandchildren including Felicia Wondergem, Naomi Wondergem and Shaina Gryzen; great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Tovey; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers, Dan and Ted Porter; sister, Audrey Woolworth. The family will greet friends Monday, January 22 from 9:30 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Jim Tol officiating.
