Nancy Ann Maioho

Nancy A. Maioho, 65 of Sand Lake, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, March 3, 2014. Nancy was born August 8, 1948 in Muskegon, MI the daughter of James and Madeline (Clark) Simon. She was a graduate of East Grand Rapids High School and had a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Aquinas College. She had a love of art, enjoyed her many friends and her home on Big Whitefish Lake. She was a devout Catholic and Franciscan. Surviving are her sons, James, Patrick (Susan), Andrew (Angela); grandchildren, Madeline, Kora, Simon, Audrey, Darien, Sailor, and Kaia; dearest friend, Ralph Hauenstein, Sr. The family will receive friends Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where a Rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11:00 am at Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Sand Lake. Rev. Fr. Lam Le celebrant. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Grand Rapids.
