Nancy L. Bassett

Nancy Lou Bassett age 84 of Rockford died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at her home. She was born April 16, 1937 in Grand Rapids the daughter of Harold and Gertrude (Noppert) Inman. Being from a family of 16 children, Nancy and her eight sisters were very close. They spent every summer on Beaver Island, enjoyed shopping together, playing cards and games. Her family and all the holidays were very important to her. Nancy and Jerry were members of the Great Lakes Street Rods for many years. Surviving are her loving husband Gerald of 56 years; children, Jason (Dawn) Bassett, Belinda (Dave) Clark; grandchildren, Aryah, Tanner, Austin, Britany; great grandson, Hunter; siblings, Dale (Karen) Inman, Barbara (Carl) Losinger, Sandra (Joe) Kilmartin; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 12 siblings. A visitation will be held 3:00-5:00 Monday, December 27 at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home Cedar Springs.
