Michael J. Stewart

Michael J. Stewart age 70 of Sand Lake, died Friday, October 9, 2020 at his home. Mike was born May 29, 1950 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of James and Susan (VanGorder) Stewart. He was a mechanic and very mechanically inclined, he enjoyed NASCAR and racing, especially sprints on dirt. He had a great sense of humor and loved his family. Mike had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Surviving are his wife, Chris; children, Heather (Tom) Antcliff, Michael Stewart, April (Wes) Wright, John Stiles; grandchildren, Sheila (Trever) Sloan, Dan Antcliff, Amber Stiles, Allison (Chris) Black, John Underly; numerous great grandchildren including, Brayden and Kayson; sisters, Laura (Jeff) Burd, Kathryn Villeneuve. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tim Stewart; son, Stephen Stiles; granddaughter, Angel Groendyk. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 12:00 pm until 12:50 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A graveside service will be held Wednesday 1:00 pm at Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Deacon Jim Hessler officiating.
