Michael Pittman Sicard aged 74 years old passed peacefully with family surrounding him at Meijer Heart Center on January 25, 2023. He was a resident of Reed City and worked at Kraftube. He was born on January 3, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Mamie and Roy Oliver Sicard. He had eight siblings and grew up in Cedar Springs, Michigan where he graduated from high school in 1967. He enlisted in the Marines Military Buddy Program with his best friend Tom Kemp in 1967. He served from 1967-1969 and was wounded in December of 1968. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service. He later graduated from Grand Valley State and worked as a Certified Public Accountant after graduation. Mike enjoyed coaching, playing with and watching the sporting events of his children and grandchildren. He was so proud of them all. He is survived by his former wife and best friend Barb Sicard (Frandsen) and his children Trina Sicard of Cedar Springs, MI; Robyn Anderson (Cory) of Ada, MI and Joel Sicard (Kelli Medler) of Cedar Springs, MI and of his five grandchildren Emily and Lena Sicard; Cas, Trey and Ty Anderson. Also surviving are his sisters Sarah Joslin (Harry), Goldie Joslin (Elwyn) and Sandy Thrasher (Dick); and one brother in law Roger Klinge. Per Michael’s request there will be no service or visitation. The family would like to thank The Meijer Heart Center and Hospice for their loving care and support. Arrangements by K. E.
