Michael M. Kornoely

Michael M. Kornoely age 54 of Cedar Springs, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his home. He was born November 8, 1967 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Merlin “Dutch” and Judy (Dykstra) Kornoely. Mike was a CPA working at Helmholdt & Company for 27 years. He was a member of AICPA and served on the board at Alpha Family Center, Cedar Springs. He had a quiet, dry humor and was very patient with others and a mentor to many. He was a great father and husband. Surviving are his wife, Kristina (Moore); children, Rachael, Jacob and Henry; father, Dutch Kornoely; brothers, David (Brenda) Kornoely, Dennis (Cate) Kornoely, Jason (Erin) Kornoely; brother-in-law, Mike Cole; father-in-law, Carl Moore; sister-in-law, Katharine (Christopher) Judge; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Kornoely; sister, Melinda Cole; mother-in-law, Ellen Moore. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Friday 11:00 am at Bridgeway Community Church 7700 Childsdale Ave, Rockford. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to Project H.O.O.D. or Samaritan Aviation.
