View Photo Tribute Melanie Marie Church, 24 of Morley, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2007 due to injuries from an automobile accident. Melanie was born December 9, 1982 in Houston, TX the daughter of Darrell and Sharon (Morrison) Church. She was a beautiful mother with a big heart and cared for those she loved. She will be lovingly remembered by her family. Surviving are her children, Leah Marie Wheaton, Jason James Guerra; stepdaughter, Gabrielle Guerra; fiancé, Lonnie Guerra; father, Darrell (Ida) Church; mother, Sharon (Robert) Vandenberg; brother, Michael (Mindy) Church; stepbrothers, Matthew (Brandy) Frank, Mike Frank; grandparents, Vearl (Pat) Church, Jean Austin, Frank Morrison, John (Clare) Idema; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com where services will be held Thursday 11:00 am. Pastor Jacob Heerema officiating. Interment Aetna Cemetery, Morley. Memorial contributions may be made to her children.
