Megan E. Cook

Megan E. Cook age 17 of Morley left her daddy’s arms to go to her heavenly daddy’s arms on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Megan was born June 3, 1999 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Randall and Beth (Fox) Cook. She loved music, played the piano in church and sang in the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus for three years. She enjoyed crafts and reading and would light up a room when she walked in. Megan we will miss you every day forever, you are singing with the angels now. Surviving are her parents, Randy (Beth) Cook, sisters, Kathleen and Jessica; brother, Justin; grandparents, Rev. Thomas (Shirley) Fox, Ken (Joane) Cook; uncle, Greg (Christine) Cook; aunts, Patricia (Tony) Misasi, Suzanne (Steve) Lloyd; ten cousins; the John (Jamie) Powell children (surrogate siblings), especially Staci Powell, her best friend and twin sister. The family will greet friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Saturday 11:00 am at New Life Baptist Church, 840 Wilson Avenue NW, Walker. Pastor Preston Judd officiating. Interment Aetna Township Cemetery, Morley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus for a scholarship or to the family.
