Matthew J. Dickerson

Matthew James Dickerson age 41 died unexpectedly Saturday, January 7, 2023 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Matt was born in Grand Rapids on December 16, 1981 the son of James and Theresa (Ignasiak) Dickerson. He worked as a powder coater in the automotive industry. But he also worked in the mines in West Virginia and drove the huge trucks down the mountain. Matt enjoyed spending time with family, especially if it involved being on the water. Surviving are his aunt Gloria Ignasiak; brother James (Emily) Dickerson III; nephew and nieces James IV, Theresa and Sydnie Dickerson; daughter Addison Dickerson; father James (Karen) Dickerson, Jr.; special cousins Ashley and Amber Ignasiak, Katelyn Lomashewich; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother Theresa and grandmother Gloria Cichon. The family will greet friends 10:00 am Friday, January 13 at Harvest Bible Baptist Church, 289 Gooding, Conklin where the service will be held at 11:00 am. Pastor Dan Van Belzen, officiating.
