MaryLou Eadie, beloved mother of three, age 88, of Cedar Springs passed away peacefully on Monday, June 29, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She was born in Cedar Springs on May 17, 1938, to Wilbur and Bernice (Ramsey) Winchester. She cherished growing up in the close-knit community, surrounded by family. MaryLou attended Cedar Springs Schools and later worked at the Red Flannel Factory. She later took pride in owning and operating her own restaurant, where her generous spirit and welcoming heart touched many. Above all, she found deep purpose in helping people, through her work as a caregiver in adult foster care, a calling that reflected her compassionate heart and brought her lasting fulfillment.

MaryLou was a devoted mother to Shari, Julie, and Michael, and her children were truly the center of her world. Through her steady love, gentle guidance, and unwavering support, they always knew they were cherished.

She found special joy in serving as a Girl Scout leader for her daughters and immense pride in raising her children. That same loving devotion continued as she helped raise and care for her grandchildren, whom she adored. She is survived by her children, Shari (Darryl) Miller, Julie Peterman and Michael (Andrea) Eadie. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Heather Miller, Jason (Tess) Peterman, Keli Miller, Stacy (R.J.) Graftema, Megan (Derrick) Lewis-Nicholson, and Brendon Eadie and five great-grandchildren, Hunter, Bella, Emerson, Charlotte, and Emery each of whom meant the world to her.

Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 11 at South Ensley Community Church, a memorial service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Please join the family for a luncheon at 1:00 p.m. A private burial service will occur later. In lieu of flowers a donation in her memory may be made to the church that she attended, South Ensley Community Church, 13600 Cypress Ave. Sand Lake 49343.
