Marylou Roselee Drent

Marylou Roselee Drent, age 81, died Saturday, November 9, 2024 at her home in Cedar Springs. She was born October 17, 1943 in Cheboygan, MI the daughter of Albert and Delia (Passeno) Oben.

Marylou had a passion for dancing, old country music, with her favorite being any music by Elvis Pressley.  She was always cooking and cherished the time she spent with her family.

Marylou is survived by her children, Pete (Carol) Drent, Butch (Connie) Drent; grandchildren, Randy (Alethea) Drent, Tanya (BJ) Badge, Rick (Emily) Drent, Peter (Andrea Sageman) Drent, Christy (Brandon Stracuzzi) Drent, Joe Drent, Jimmy (Elise) Gates, Robert Gates; several great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Moschke; ex-husband, Bernard Drent Sr; step-children, Rachael (Chad) Zentz, Angela (Chad) VanSyckle, Jason Helzer. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Ellen Kerns, siblings, Ted, Al, Fred, and John Oben, Phyllis Rosenburg; best friend, George LeMunyon.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at K.E. Pike Funeral Home in Cedar Springs with visitation at 10:30 a.m. Officiating, Pastor Dave VanHarten from Rise Up Church.
