Mary L. Welch

Mary Lou Welch age 85 of Cedar Springs died Saturday, March 18, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 26, 1937 in Solon Township the daughter of Roger and Helen (Hanna) Fisk, Sr. Mary enjoyed quilting, canning, baking, hunting, and fishing. She was always doing what she could to help people. Mary loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are her children, Janet Force, Terry (Margaret) Minaker, Wanda Bellingar; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Eric (Mandy) Force, Katie Bellingar, Jacob Force, Randi Force, Piper DeGarmo, Mike Lemson, Dan (Sam) Ogden, Jameson Ogden, Avery Ogden; siblings, Jim Fisk, Sr., Jarry Fisk, Sr., Patty Anderson; sister-in-law, Joyce Fisk; special friend of many years, Charles Navitskas. She was preceded in death by her husband James Welch, daughter, Mary Jo Minaker, son-in-law, Randy Force, grandson, Steven Force, siblings, Dixie Fisk, Jack Fisk, Barbara Helsel, Donna Ellick, Roger Fisk, Jr., in-laws, Ora Helsel, Mahlon Ellick, Diane Fisk, Shirley Fisk, Carl Anderson. The family will greet friends Wednesday, Mar. 22, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 6:00 – 8:00 pm at K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm with visitation at 12:00 pm. Pastor Chuck Jenson, officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Solon Township Hall. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of one’s choice.
