Mary R. Middendorp

Mary R. Middendorp, 90 of Newaygo, died Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at the Newaygo County Medical Care Facility, Fremont. Mrs. Middendorp was born April 18, 1918 in Sand Lake, MI the daughter of Anthony and Angeline (Zoppa) Lanesky. She had worked at Lescoa in Grand Rapids and was a member of the Croton American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She loved to play bingo and enjoyed dancing. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband John; brother, Joe Lanesky; sisters, Anna Hartman, Genevieve Carr, Bertha Morris, and Helen Parcher. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Rev. Fr. Joseph W. Kenshol officiating. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Sand Lake.
