Mary Kathryn (Kaye) Farwell

Mary Kathryn (Kaye) Farwell, 86, formerly of Cedar Springs, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2009. Kaye was born on February 7, 1923 in Adams County, Illinois, the daughter of George Earl and Lucy Jane (Zeh) Steiner. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Becky and Nancy; her sister, Betty and her grandchildren, Roland, Russell, Hannah and Natalie. Kaye was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, H. Russell Farwell on August 13, 2009; her brothers, Grandville and Donald and her son, James Russell. A celebration of her life will be held Monday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Springs with Pastor Mary Ivanov officiating. The family will greet friends at a luncheon following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedar Springs Public Library or Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
