Mary B. Cartwright

Mary B. Cartwright age 88 of Cedar Springs, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at her home in the care of her family. Mary was born January 23, 1935 in Munising, MI the daughter of Clarance and Lola (Cobb) Vanderveen. She worked for HH Cutler for 41 years retiring in 2000. Mary’s priorities were taking care of her Boys and grandchildren. Her grand babies were her life; she traveled far and wide to SEE them and RETRIEVE them. Mary had a strong faith in God and knew where she was going after this life. Surviving are her son, Randy (Kim) Cartwright; sister, JoAnne (Carl) Swanson; 16 grandchildren; 42 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and many “acquired” grandchildren. She was preceded in death her husband, Harley L. Cartwright; sons, Harley Bruce Cartwright; Dennis Cartwright Sr.; daughter-in-law, Diane Cartwright; sisters, Dorothy (Jim) Ritchie, Minnie (Raymond) Johns, Mamie (Jerry) Mumper; brother, William McNally. The family will greet friends Tuesday, June 6, from 6 – 8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Wednesday 11:00 am at Frost Creek Church, 15671 Algoma Avenue, Cedar Springs. A family hour will begin at 10:00 am. Pastor Dylan Mason officiating. Interment Big Prairie – Everett Cemetery, White Cloud.
