Marlin "Pete" Christensen

Marlin R. “Pete” Christensen age 80 of Cedar Springs, died Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Pete was born December 5, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Victor and Rebecca (Taylor) Christensen. He served in the Army National Guard and worked at Wolverine World Wide for 38 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Thelma (Potes); children, Nick (Sally) Christensen, Jeff (Kim) Christensen; grandchildren, Jacob, Cassie, Cody, Billy, Branden, Justen; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Ila (Dale) Mortensen; brother, Larry Christensen; several nieces and nephews; favorite furry pal, Maggie. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service and luncheon will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
