Marlene A. Mckenney

Marlene A. McKenney age 68 of Pierson, died Friday, July 5, 2019 at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus, Grand Rapids. Marlene was born January 29, 1951 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Robert and Erna (Dotzler) Weber. She retired from Chase Bank after 36 years of service in 2006. She loved cats, red glass and roosters. She and her husband Doyle were very involved in Christ the King Catholic Church, Howard City. Surviving are her husband Doyle, whom she married on September 5, 1979; brothers, Robert (Rozalyn) Weber, Joseph Weber; many family members of the McKenney family. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Andrew; sister-in-law, Ellen Weber. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 11:00 am Christ the King Catholic Church, Howard City. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Rev. Fr. James VanderLaan celebrant. Private interment Resurrection Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Church or Cystic Fibrosis.
