Marjorie A. Clark age 95 of Solon Township died Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Green Acres of Cedar Springs. She was born November 20, 1926 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Hubert and Mildred (Davidson) Woodworth. Marjorie graduated from Cedar Springs High, MSU, and CMU. She was a member of Cedar Springs Community Players, Cedar Springs Women’s Club (where she was Woman of the Year and blood drive chairman), Honorary Member of Cedar Springs Rotary, and a 1992 Red Flannel Parade Grand Marshall along with her husband Jack. Marjorie collected dolls and was a kindergarten teacher for over 30 years. She enjoyed teaching and keeping in touch with former students. Marjorie was an active member of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church for many years and worshipped with the East Nelson United Methodist congregation. Surviving are her children, Marilyn Higley, Nancy (COL Ret. Tom) Noreen, Dr. Mark (Sue) Clark, Barbara Waller; grandchildren, Dr. Karen Noreen, MAJ Sarah (Ben) Smith, Janet (Russell) Scott, CPT Peter (Mikelle) Noreen, Megan (MAJ Brian) Szczepanek, Kate (Dr. Jeff ) Brakenhoff, Krista (Dr. Eli) Horn, Andrea (Jeff) Carlson, Amy (Adam) Hutchinson; great grandchildren, Katherine and Jessica Smith, Evelyn and Noah Scott, Sophia Noreen, Emily, Connor and Chloe Szczepanek, Taylor and Trey Brackenhoff, Caleb, Kai and Asa Horn, Brody Edrington, Gwen Carlson, Melanie Hutchinson. She was preceded in death by husband Jack Clark, brother and sister-in-law David (Olivemae) Woodworth, son-in-law Gene Waller. The family will greet friends Wednesday, June 29 from 6-8 pm at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, at Cedar Springs United Methodist Church with visitation at 10 am. Pastor Michelle Vallier, officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Cedar Springs Rotary/polio plus or to Cedar Springs or East Nelson United Methodist Churches.
