Marjorie J. (Bird) Bailey, 90 of Cedar Springs, died peacefully at home Friday, February 13, 2015. Marjorie was the daughter of Maurice and Audrey (Dean) Bird. Marjorie was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Cedar Springs. Surviving are her children, Terry and Dave Fountain, Judy and Jim Owens, Betty Towns, Sharon and Joe DeWildt, Gilbert Bailey, Gail and Lonnie Armstrong, Ann and Brian Longcore; 19 grandchildren; 44 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Letha Gebhardt and Patricia Bailey; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Mac in 2003; a sister and a brother; three grandsons, Wes, Tim and David; a great grandson, Michael and her parents. The family would like to thank Hospice of Michigan with a special thank you to Sara Fragale--“ Mom loved you.” A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs with Mr. Jeremiah Gitchel officiating. A time of sharing among family and friends will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions to Hospice of Michigan.
