Marie A. Poling

Marie Ann Poling age 81 of Cedar Springs, died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Mercy Health St. Mary’s. She was born June 2, 1940 in Alma, MI the daughter of Wesley and Pauline (Gladding) Tomlin. She enjoyed working with ancestry and genealogy and working puzzles and trivia. She taught Sunday School and played the piano at many churches, campgrounds and Bible schools thru the years. Surviving are her husband, Melroy; children, Shawn Poling, Ronna (Keith) Wiseman; daughter-in-law, Linda Poling; grandchildren, Paige Poling, Bailey Poling and William Lesesne. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Troy “Jamie” Poling; grandson, Nicholas Wyatt; brother, George “Tom” Tomlin. The family will greet friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Wednesday 11:00 am. Viewing will begin Wednesday at 10:00 am. Pastor Dan VanBelzen officiating. Interment Solon Township Cemetery.
