Marian Louise (Coalter) Reyburn, of Sparta, MI died on June 25, 2023, following a lengthy illness. Marian Louise Reyburn was born in Kent City, MI on June 9, 1931. She began working, age 12. as a waitress at the Kent City Hotel. Following high school graduation, age 16, she worked for ten years at American Seating Company, Grand Rapids, MI. During that time she married Bernard "Bud" Reyburn and had two daughters. Later she attended cosmetology school and taught at Montcalm County Technical School. In 1990 she retired from the Michigan Employment Security Commission (MESC). During her retirement, she loved traveling, crafting and spending time with her "adopted" family, David, Brandt, Tealanne, Drake Olson and Kimberly Rouleau. Marian was an active member of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church as a member of the laity, she was a representative at several conferences. Also, she volunteered at the Church's food pantry. Having a Revolutionary War Patriot, John Twibell, Marian was a member of the Sophie De Marsac Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). Marian was preceded in death by her father, Orville Coalter (1973), Her mother Carrie Morrison Coalter (1988), her spouse, Bud Reyburn (2004) and sister, Betty Bronner (2009). Marian is survived by her daughters, Pamela S. Reyburn, Middleburg, FL, Toni L. Reyburn, Sparta, MI, special friend Cindy Broadhurst, Comstock Park, MI, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Currently funeral arrangements are pending. Marian lived a long, healthy life doing whatever she wanted to do by working hard and planning carefully. She will be greatly miss by family and friends.
