Margaret H. Monroe

Mrs. Margaret H. Monroe, aged 84, passed away Friday morning, May 7, 2010 of complications associated with diverticulitis. Margaret was surrounded by the love of her children and spouses and several grandchildren as she passed peacefully at Butterworth Hospital. Preceding her in death was her husband, Robert in 1986; and her devoted friend and companion, Guy Heintzelman in 2008. Surviving are her seven children, Judith Gem (George), Robert Jr., Walter (Roxann), Lloyd (Beth), Kathy Conway (Vic), Cheryl Wiseman (Bob); and her youngest son, Scott (Carrie). She will be sadly missed by her sixteen grand children, twenty eight great grand children, and one great-great grand child. Honoring Margaret’s wishes a private family graveside will take place at Sand Lake Cemetery with burial beside her husband. Arrangements by Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs.
