Margaret A. "Peggy" Lang

Margaret A. "Peggy" Lang, 87 of Caledonia, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Mary’s Mercy Health Center. Mrs. Lang was born May 22, 1927 in Ridley Township, PA the daughter of Joseph and Stella (Heffner) Bissinger. She was a graduate of Immaculata College in Malvern, PA where she also was a basketball player for the Mighty Mac's. Mrs. Lang had a long teaching career where she touched the lives of students from elementary to high school level. Surviving are her husband, Alfred, whom she married on Sept. 4, 1954; children, David Lang, Margie Haynes; grandchildren, Heather (Don) Marczewski, Brian, Sean, and Kellie Lang, Mike (Crystal) Haynes, Katie Haynes; great grandchildren, Morgan, Brady and Rylee; brother, Karl Bissinger. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Julie Keeth, Betty Thompson; brothers, Joseph, Anton and John Bissinger. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday May 8th at 11:00 am at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2750 Burton St. SE, Rev. Paul Milanowski celebrant. The family will greet friends beginning at 10:00 am.
