Marcia K. Hovey

Marcia Kay (Streeter) Hovey, 62 of Sand Lake, died Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Metro Health Hospital. Marcia was born May 29, 1951 to Maurice and Delores (Inman) Streeter of Cedar Springs. She graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 1969. She married Tom Hovey Jr. on April 4, 1970. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid college hockey enthusiast, loved music and enjoyed spending time with her "girls". Surviving are her husband, Tom Hovey Jr.; children Tera (Jim) Davis, Tom Hovey III, DJ (Matt) Dekraker; grand children Tylor and Jimmy Davis, Nathan Hovey, Chloe and Aly Dekraker; siblings Beverly (Terry) Sheldon, Douglas (Laurie) Streeter; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda (Streeter) Steele. The family will meet family and friends Friday, May 2, 2014 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Bliss-Witters Pike Funeral Home in Cedar Springs.
