Lucy A. Chatman

Lucy A. Chatman age 84 of Sparta died Sunday, January 14, 2024 at her son’s home. She was born July 23, 1939 in Walker, MI the daughter of William and Ethel (Johnson) Milligan. She was a very caring person and was always willing to help others. She loved her dogs and enjoyed garage sales, bingo and gambling. Surviving are her sons, Leo (Michele) Chatman, Joe Chatman, Jeff Chatman; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Roger, Jane and Michelle; granddaughter, Sara Chatman. A committal service and burial will take place at Crandall Cemetery, Ensley Township when the weather will permit. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Kent County.
