Lowell S. Jarrett, Sr.

Lowell S. “Butch” Jarrett, Sr. 70 of Rockford, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Mr. Jarrett was born December 6, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Ralph and Shirley (Willis) Jarrett. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and could fix anything. He was a father to many and had a great love for his family and grandchildren. Surviving are his wife, Judy; children, Debbie & Michael Stanton, Deanna Terranova & Larry Krawczyk, Kirt Jarrett, Corey Jarrett; grandchildren, Michael, Trevor, Justin, Mikayla, Eliza, and Angelica; great granddaughter, Emma; sisters, Judy & Dean Steig, Joy & Lucio Perez, Linda Jarrett & Gregg Stephenson; sister-in-law, Jean Marlette; special cousins, Ernie Adams, Bob Noteboom, Mick Willis; special friends, Paul & Julie Piccard; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Lowell Jarrett, Jr. in 2003. The family will greet friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be held Thursday 11:00 am at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church, 6727 Kuttshill Dr., Rockford. Pastor Matt Zainea officiating. Interment Courtland Township Cemetery.
