Louis H. Gray

Louis H. Gray, 73 of Kent City, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Monday, September 3, 2007. Louis was born July 4, 1934 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Herman and Pauline (Joslin) Gray. He retired from General Motors in 1984 and had owned a fruit orchard on 17 Mile Road in Cedar Springs for many years. He was a hardworking, generous, and giving man who will be greatly missed. Surviving are his wife, Alice Lorraine Gray; 4 children, Martin Gray, Rene & Ken Coalter, Lynette Elder, Blake Gray; 4 stepchildren, Terry & Cindy Miller, Jeff Miller, Rick & Tammy Miller, Suzanne Paula; 16 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Glenn Gray and Robert Gray; 1 sister, Charlene Brown; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Elaine Gray, a grandson, Eric and his parents. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Red Pine Bible Church, Kent City. Pastor Rick Miller officiating. A luncheon will follow at the church where the family will greet friends. Memorial contributions may be made to Red Pine Bible Church.
