Lorraine E. Kunst

Lorraine E. Kunst, 91 of O’Fallon, MO died Saturday, June 6, 2015. Lorraine was born March 4, 1924 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Charles and Josephine (Paauwe) Visner, Jr. She graduated from Creston High School in 1943 and as a Senior she was a “bomber girl” for greater Creston Heights to sell war bonds to purchase a naval destroyer. She was a butcherette for Kroger for 27 years wrapping and pricing meat, she retired in 1986. Lorraine was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary for VFW Post #2593 in Missouri. Surviving are her son, Randy (Andrea) Kunst; daughter-in-law, Mary Kunst; grandchildren, Amy (Brian) Kulish, Jaime (Aaron) Flick, Christopher Kunst and Larry Kunst; great grandchildren, Jordan, Makenzie, Samantha and Miranda; sisters, Joanne (John) vonEhr, Dorothy (Dan) McMillie, Ruth (George) DeYoung; brother, Robert (Dorothy) Visner; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, “Lawrney”; son, Lawrence, Jr.; brothers, Charles Visner III and Thomas Visner. The family will greet friends Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. Pastor Steve Lindeman officiating.
