Lois M. Larson

Lois M. Larson age 94 of Cedar Springs died Monday, June 3, 2019 at Metron of Cedar Springs. Lois was born March 20, 1925 in Chippewa County, MI the daughter of Peter and Vera (Wilcox) Holton. She was a member of the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church and served funeral lunches there. While at Metron she was the embodiment of a grandma. She was driven by her Christian values and her loving care and comfort for the residents was outstanding. She also loved the plants and watered them and kept them healthy. Keeping herself young and encouraging others to do the same was her goal. The family wishes to thank the staff at Metron for their wonderful care. She is survived by her “3 beautiful and successful children,” Sandra (Bill) Simmons, Dale (Pam) Larson and Gordon Larson; 7 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and siblings, Earl and Glenna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwood; siblings, Keith, Merlin, Paul and Jean. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs where the service will be held Thursday 11 am with Pastor Bill Johnson officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Cedar Springs United Methodist Church.
