Lois J. Andrus

Lois J. Andrus age 83 of Ensley Township, Sand Lake went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her home. Lois was born October 4, 1936 in Comstock Park, MI the daughter of the late Hattley and Arlene (Ballard) Rector. She retired from Tri-County Schools and attended Blythefield Hills Baptist Church Ensley Campus. She loved knitting and making baby sweaters, camping and mushrooming. Her family was very important to her, and their home on Baptist Lake was the place for kids to be during the summer. She was cookie grandma to the great grandkids. Surviving are her husband Fred, whom she married on November 27, 1954; children, Lori (Randy) Saliers, Ray (Dawn) Andrus, Mark (Shari) Andrus; grandchildren, Kaly Klein, Amy (Tyrel) Frey, Luke (Megan) Andrus, Michelle (Cody) Barrows; great grandchildren, Sawyer, Prezleigh, Henry and Hayden; sisters, Carol (Chuck) Mackus, Linda (Gary) Nead, Esther (Carl) Anderson; sister-in-law, Ruth Andrus; nieces and nephews. The family will greet friends Saturday, November 9 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am at Blythefield Hills Baptist Church Ensley Campus, 7077 120th St., Sand Lake. Pastor Ben Crouse officiating. Private interment North Ensley Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or Spectrum Health Hospice.
