Lindsey A. Powell age 34 of Cedar Springs, passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 at her home. Lindsey was born November 9, 1988 in Grand Rapids, MI the daughter of Norman and Rebecca (Scott) Powell. She graduated from Cedar Springs High School in 2007 and became a certified massage therapist. She loved nature and animals. She is survived by her beloved dog, Inara and horse, Bird. She was artistic and very creative with a great imagination. Lindsey had a servant spirit and was always assisting others. A friend to many and loved by all who knew her. She adored children and was especially close to her nieces and nephews. Many of her characteristics were very similar to her fathers who preceded her in death in 1996. Surviving are her mother, Rebecca Powell; brother, Scott and his wife (Tia) Powell; nieces and nephews, Hunter, Kirstin, Autumn, Cameron and Isaiah; grandmother, Elizabeth “Birdie” Havener; special friends, Samantha Liscombe and Alyssa Koprowski; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was also preceded in death by grandparents, Rev. Bliss and Edna Scott, Norman Sr. and Beatrice Powell, and Victor Havener. The family will greet friends Friday, March 3 from 6-8 pm at the K.E. Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The service will be Saturday 10:00 am at The Springs Church, 135 N. Grant St. Cedar Springs with a luncheon to follow.
