Linda L. Steele

Linda L. Steele, 68 of Belmont, died Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Great Lakes Specialty Hospital Grand Rapids. Linda was born January 23, 1945 in Cedar Springs, the daughter of Maurice and Delores (Inman) Streeter. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and activities. Surviving are her husband, Robert whom she married on September 28, 1963; children, Kevin (Christine) Steele, Debbie (Eric) Townes, Thomas (Crystal) Steele, Kyle (Cheryl) Steele, Andrew (Branin) Steele; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, Beverly (Terry) Sheldon, Douglas (Laurie) Streeter, Marcia (Tom) Hovey; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson, Jesse Lewis. The family will greet friends Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. A luncheon will follow at the Cedar Springs American Legion. Private family interment Elmwood Cemetery, Cedar Springs. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
