Lillian E. Mclaughlin

Lillian E. McLaughlin, 86 of Cedar Springs, formerly of Yonkers, NY went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at her home. Mrs. McLaughlin was born May 7, 1919 in New York City, NY the daughter of John and Bertha (Gaetcke) Stueven. She was an independent lady who never asked anyone to help her, but was always there to help others. She was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, Howard City. Surviving are one daughter and her husband, Lillian A. & Ken Westerman of Cedar Springs; three grandchildren, Jaime, Erin, and Colin; seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband James in 2002; two sisters, Gertrude and Marian; one brother, Hugo. Her daughter would like to thank her for being a great mother, confidante and loyal friend. She will miss her and always love her. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs. The funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at Bethel Lutheran Church, Howard City. Rev. Alsen Wenzel officiating. Interment Ft. Custer National Cemetery, Augusta, MI.
