Lester B. Bott

Lester B. Bott, 92, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Villa Marie Retirement Home. Lester was born April 26, 1921 in Grand Rapids, MI the son of Bernard and Katherine (Weidenfeller) Bott. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. Lester was married to Dorothy on January 11, 1941. They were married 58 years. He married Anna on June 10, 2000. Lester and Anna were married 13 years. Lester is survived by his children and their spouses Eugene (Lani) of Weeki Wachee, FL, Bruce (Geraldine) of Cedar Springs, Paul (Therese) of Walker, and Mary (Bob) Kaling of Marne, brother Gerald (Mary Lou) of Grand Rapids. Lester was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Dorothy and Anna; son, Lester Jr.; sisters, Dorothy Gust, Bernice Whitmore, Delores Snay; brother, Eugene Bott. Private funeral services will be held in Florida where Lester spent 39 years of retirement. Interment Florida National Cemetery.
